NVIDIA added DLSS 4.5 controls to its GeForce NOW streaming service on Thursday, introducing user-configurable image and performance settings across its cloud gaming app. The controls let subscribers adjust DLSS Super Resolution to sharpen image quality, Ray Reconstruction to enhance ray-traced visuals, and Dynamic Multi Frame Generation to reduce latency and stutter.
Ultimate tier members running on GeForce RTX 5080 cloud rigs gain access to Dynamic Multi Frame Generation at up to 4X. NVIDIA placed the new toggles within the GeForce NOW app settings across Windows, macOS, Chrome OS, and Steam OS. Supported titles taking advantage of the options include 007 First Light with path tracing, CONTROL Resonant, and Resident Evil Requiem.
Keen Games launched Enshrouded 1.0 directly onto the cloud platform, bringing the co-op survival action role-playing game out of early access. The cloud release bypasses a 60GB local installation while adding nine spells, new skills for mages and archers, reworked wands, upgradeable Eternal spells, and equipment caps up to level 55. Retro shooter sequel Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 also arrived at launch, featuring a branching campaign with playable characters Malum Caedo and Nyra Veyrath.
Additional titles joining the GeForce NOW library include Planet Zoo 2, Deep Dish Dungeon, Total War: SHOGUN 2 – Complete Edition, and Valor Mortis. The service also added Among the Trolls, over the hill, Beyond These Stars, Tenebris Somnia, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Remastered. Prospective players can test the service using day passes, with the purchase price creditable toward a first monthly membership.
A separate update doubles the performance of DLSS 5’s 3D-Guided Neural Rendering model by 2X. The updated rendering model debuts October 16 in NBA 2K27 across GeForce NOW, GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards, and RTX Spark laptops.
