Pawprint Studio launched its free-to-play creature-catching role-playing game Aniimo on GeForce NOW, NVIDIA announced. The release allows gamers to stream the title across supported hardware, including Steam Deck handhelds and Mozilla's Firefox browser, without completing its 45GB local storage download.
Players in Aniimo explore the continent of Idyll, capturing creatures using Aniipods and using a mechanic called Twine to assume companion forms for battles, traversal, and puzzles. The title also includes an RV base where players construct a Homeland area alongside collected companions.
NVIDIA also deployed a path-tracing update for IO Interactive's 007 First Light on the streaming service. The update introduces ray-traced lighting, shadows, and reflections, supported by NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, Super Resolution, and Dynamic Frame Generation. Ultimate tier subscribers can stream the James Bond game with GeForce RTX 5080-class performance at up to 5K resolution with high dynamic range. Steam is offering a sale on the game's Deluxe Edition from Sept. 15 to Sept. 29, while the Epic Games Store discount runs through Sept. 18.
Gaijin Network launched its military shooter Active Matter on the platform following its Sept. 15 release on Steam and Gaijin. The game drops operatives into time-loop raids across a fractured multiverse to extract resources before combat zones collapse. Annapurna Interactive's space-exploration mystery Outer Wilds also joined the cloud service among 11 new titles onboarded during the week.
Subscribers gained access to several other store releases, including Sept. 15 additions RuneScape: Dragonwilds on Xbox and Train Sim World 7 on Steam, as well as Sept. 17 release The Guild 1 Remake: Europa 1410. The Blood of Dawnwalker on GOG.com and What Remains of Edith Finch on Steam also arrived in the library. NVIDIA sells a day pass for prospective users, allowing customers to credit the pass price toward a monthly membership.
