Nvidia Opens Graduate Fellowship Applications

Nvidia opened applications for the 2027-2028 Graduate Fellowship Program worldwide. The company said the program provides grants, mentors and technical support to doctoral students.

Nvidia is accepting applications from students working in artificial intelligence, machine learning, autonomous vehicles, computer graphics, robotics, healthcare, high-performance computing and related fields. Awards reach up to $60,000 per student.

Program requirements

Students must have completed at least their first year of Ph.D.-level studies when applying. An in-person internship at an Nvidia research office preceding the fellowship year is mandatory, requiring candidates to be available in summer 2027.

The application deadline is October 30, 2026. Nvidia launched the Graduate Fellowship Program in 2002. The program is in its 26th year and has awarded over 220 grants worth around $8 million.
