Tech brand HONOR has showcased a robotic system that operates faster than human speed, according to reporting by filipinotimes.net.
HONOR humanoid Robotics D1 demonstrated a 100-metre time of 9.32 seconds during testing. The machine surpassed the 9.58-second human world record set by Usain Bolt in 2009.
Engineers recorded additional performances for the machine, including 400 metres in 39.45 seconds and 1,500 metres in 2 minutes 30 seconds. The robot completed a half marathon in 50 minutes 26 seconds and reached a peak speed of 14.5 metres per second.
Robot movement and AI training
Artificial intelligence controls the machine's movement patterns and response adjustments. The system processes weight shifts, calculates step force, and corrects balance changes continuously in fractions of a second.
The machine depends on data, sensors, algorithms, and repeated training rather than human instinct or muscle memory.
