Google DeepMind selected 15 European robotics startups on June 9, 2026, to join a three-month accelerator program aimed at integrating artificial intelligence into physical hardware.
Google DeepMind said the program brings early-stage founders to London to begin working directly with technical experts and mentors from Google and Google DeepMind. Participating teams will receive product guidance, partner network access, and direct availability to Google's AI stack, technical expertise, and Gemini robotics models.
Participating startups
The cohort includes 15 companies operating across sectors such as healthcare, construction, manufacturing, logistics, and environmental solutions:
- 3D-Components AS (Norway): Builds RobTrack, an AI platform that automates quality control and parameter selection for robotic welding and metal 3D-printing.
- Acumino (Greece): Develops hardware-agnostic physical AI designed to run industrial tasks efficiently.
- Adapta Robotics (Romania): Deploys tactile AI replicating human touch to test electronics and medical devices.
- AUAR (Automated Architecture) (United Kingdom): Deploys robotic MicroFactories directly to housing construction sites.
- Bubble Robotics (France): Operates autonomous subsea and surface robots to build live underwater models without surface vessels.
- Danu Robotics (United Kingdom): Uses embodied AI systems to automate waste sorting for material recovery.
- Deltia GmbH (Germany): Converts manual assembly line workflows into digital process graphs to optimize factory production.
- Embodied AI (Switzerland): Deploys teleoperated humanoid robots in customer service environments to collect manipulation training data.
- Extend Robotics (United Kingdom): Provides teleoperation software and data pipelines to fine-tune foundation models.
- Forgis (Switzerland): Creates AI agents to predict machine failures and manage factory operations.
- Generative Bionics (Italy): Builds humanoid robots based on physical AI architectures.
- Qualia (Denmark): Constructs software infrastructure to convert robotic foundation models into deployed systems.
- ROBEAUTE (France): Develops micro-scale robots capable of navigating brain tissue for neurosurgical diagnosis and treatment.
- Staer (Sweden): Uses computer vision on existing camera networks to map facility environments into 3D models for robot navigation.
- Touchlab (United Kingdom): Manufactures advanced nano-ink e-skin to provide tactile sensing across flexible surfaces.
Google DeepMind noted that all 15 selected companies will receive ongoing strategic guidance throughout the three-month period to support responsible scaling.
